A progressive young hurdler last season running very well behind some classy novices in soft ground before winning the Scottish Champion Hurdle from a decent field. A nice reappearance, the ground was too quick for him at Cheltenham last time, although he still ran well for a long way. Back on soft ground is very much in his favour and he’ll relish stepping up in trip. He looks sure to be a major player.
