Considering the error he made 4 out on his chase debut, he did pretty well to plug on into 5th place. He’d just started to creep into contention prior to that blunder, having travelled and jumped nicely beforehand. He’s best on a decent surface and will appreciate this slight step up in trip. He’s we’ll handicapped having won off a higher mark over hurdles and having been dropped a few pounds since this time last year. The stable are in good form and a big run can be expected, with improvement to come for that chase experience last time.
