1.10 Newbury – St Barts – WON 6/4 (Adv 7/4)

A lightly raced progressive horse, who looks potentially well ahead of his mark and is open to a good deal of further progression now sent over the larger obstacles. A point to point winner, he ran well in a couple of novice hurdles before winning on handicap debut in impressive fashion in deep ground as Ascot. Returning to action at Exeter in a handicap chase, he pushed the well regarded winner close, having jumped to his left and also hampered by the eventual third, before finishing his race off very well. The stable are in much better form now, he’ll really benefit from racing left handed and can go one better here.
