Global Storm really impressed last time at Newmarket where he quickened away from the field impressively and perhaps better than his jockey expected, as they then only just hung on. If he’d delivered his run a little later, he’d have been an impressive winner. With proven form on soft ground he should run a big race. – 3rd 7/2
Highland Chief won on soft ground on his debut and then ran a cracker when 3rd in the Chesham at Royal Ascot behind Pinatubo. Off the track for a while, he disappointed at Newmarket in the Group 2 Royal Lodge. Back in grade and on a soft surface that he clearly handles well, he’s bred for a trip and with the stable runners in fine form could well deliver on his early promise. – WON 20/1
