Supreme Novices Hurdle, Cheltenham 16th March – Appreciate It, 9/4 (NRNB with Paddy Power)
Generally 11/4 Ante Post Rules with other Bookmakers.
Runner up to Ferny Hollow in last years Champion Bumper at the Festival, having won impressively at the Dublin Festival on his previous outing. This season he made his hurdles debut at Cork, quickening really nicely and winning comfortably where the form has been boosted by the runner up and in a race those two pulled miles clear of the rest. A 2nd run over hurdles was extremely impressive when he routed a strong grade 1 field at Leopardstown, stamping him down as the best 2 mile novice in Ireland. He’s due to run at the Dublin Festival on Sunday and with a lack of a strong home based challenge for the Supreme, an authoritative display this weekend, could see him a pretty short priced Fav for the Festival opener.
Update: Won really well at the Dublin Festival and very much looks like the one to beat at Cheltenham, where is is now 7/4 Fav.
