The class act here and he’s taken to give weight to inferior opposition on what is just his 3rd start over fences. A decent staying hurdler last season, he ran a fine first race over fences when 2nd in a match with Silver Forever, who he travelled better than for much of the race but couldn’t match the turn of foot produced by that classy mare, who has since bolted up since. Imperial Alcazar ran another good race last time, but just didn’t seem to get home over the 3 mile trip on what was very testing ground. He again travelled really well but bumped into a very progressive and well handicapped winner. The drop back in trip on better ground is sure to suit and he looks sure to run a big race with the dead eight and 3 places for each way bets.
