1.45 Haydock – Kimifive (5/1) & Barbill (9/1) to Win.
Kimifive has continued to improve with racing having been competitive in some really good handicaps last season, predominantly over 7 furlongs. He again made his reappearance over that trip and simply got no run throughout the entire race, finishing fully of running. He has the speed for this trip and based on the promise of last time is sure to go close.
Barbill is a sprinter we’re really hopeful for this season, having struggled a little as some horses do in his 3yo campaign. Tried quite highly, he’s now 10lb lower in the handicap that he was at the start of his 3yo season. He’s well suited by a quick surface and whilst we’d love to see him dropped to 5f, this isn’t a stiff 6f so he can’t be allowed to run unsupported.
