12.40 Kempton – Polish (e/w) – 8/1 Paddy Power & Unibet, top 5 places.
Otherwise generally 7/1, Skybet, William Hill, Betfair & Betfred also Top 5 Places.
Clearly a horse with a lot of ability having been rated 89 on the flat after just 3 runs at the beginning of his career. Having moved stables a couple of times and not really progressed, he’s made a real impression since being switched to hurdles. An eye-catching run when 2nd on his debut whilst being given an educational ride, he then won last time beating a few nice sorts which suggest his handicap mark of 128 is potentially lenient. He’ll appreciate the drying, is unexposed and open to further improvement and is a very interesting contender here.
We will have a saver on Downtown Getaway, who looks well handicapped based on his win at Ascot last season. Heavily backed last time, he’s had a wind op since and could we a major player of that does the trick.
Win saver Downtown Getaway at 4/1
