At his best on a quicker surface, he’s shown a high level of form over the last couple of seasons over a mile and deserves another chance over this trip, having come 3rd at Doncaster last on a slightly softer surface. He looked like he was always going to pick up the front two, but just didn’t quicken on the ground.
