This filly had a fair amount of attention on social media recently when her trainer David Menuisier “tongue in cheek” suggested he might supplement her for the Arc on Sunday. Connections have sided with this slightly easier option and with conditions in her favour they may well be rewarded with a Group 1 victory. She’s switched between England and France for her races and has performed best when encountering a really soft surface as shown when an impressive winner at Deauville, winning a Group 3 race in August. Staying on very strongly that day, she was then a very good 5th to Tarnawa in a very strong Group 1, not wasn’t beaten far at all. This isn’t as strong as that event, and the ground was perhaps quicker than she really wanted, so a slight step up on that effort can be expected here. She has yet to race over quite this far, but she finished her race so strongly when winning at Deauville suggesting she’d easily stay further. With conditions to suit, she looks a cracking each way bet at around 5/1.
