2.20 York – Hamada – WON 5/2

Lightly raced 4yo and potentially better than his handicap mark despite having won his last two races. A very good runner up to Atty Persse on his 2nd run, where the winner ran off a mark of 102 on its last run.  Hamada then won his maiden by 6 lengths at the end of last season. He made his handicap debut at Wolverhampton at the end of last month and won far easier than the 5lb rise on the weights suggests. He’s very much capable of winning here off 92, before potentially contesting pattern races later in the season.
