A pity he comes here instead of the Ebor, but he’s still unexposed as a stayer and very capable of getting in the mix here at a big price. Very progressive last year, he looks to have taken another step forward this season, winning the Chester Cup on his reappearance and then last time finding just Nearly Caught too good at Sandown, with some decent sorts behind. That ground would have been quicker than he’d prefer, he’s a very strong stayer so this ground will suit and whilst he has a bit to find with the principles, a big run is expected. Again we’d suggest Dartmouth stepping up to this trip for the first time as the saver option.
