An improving young hurdler who looks like he’ll absolutely relish this step up in trip. A winner of a NH Flat race in September, he then followed up on his hurdles debut at Wetherby beating a well regarded horse from the Dan Skelton yard. He then contested a decent little hurdle race at Ascot and ran an excellent race when 2nd to the 152 rated chaser Valtor, giving that much more experienced rival 5lbs in the process. Redford Road is now 8lbs better off with that rival, but just as important is the step up n trip, and out fellow stayed on really strongly that day suggesting he’d improve a good deal for tackling 3 miles. He looks to be very much over priced and is a strong fancy, even though seemingly 2nd choice based on stable jockey bookings.
