2.47 Chepstow – Secret Investor – WON 11/4

The good ground is a real plus for this horse, who’s form on a decent surface is very good. A decent hurdler, he’s really taken to fences, winning twice as a novice with the 2nd of those victories the Grade 2 Future Champion Chase at Ayr. He didn’t appreciate the soft ground on his first two races last season, but then ran a cracker when 2nd to Native River at Newbury in the Denman Chase, only beaten 2 lengths by that top class chaser. A mark of 153 looks very fair for his handicap debut, he’s a really classy type and can prove himself better than the opposition here.
