3.00 Ascot – Tabdeed – WON 6/4 (Advised 4/1)

Very lightly raced having just the one run as a 2yo when beating the now 100 rated Yafta pretty comfortably at Leicester. He then made his 3yo return at Nottingham in a novice event giving weight away and bolted up. Stepped up in grade and trip for the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot he ran a fair bit better than his finishing position of 12th suggest, as racing in the nearside group he quickened clear of some very good horses in his group before fading inside the final furlong. He held a group race entry for Saturday, but connections clearly felt they should take the easier option and we’re expecting that to pay dividends here. He’s a very strong fancy and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him well backed.
