A proven top class performer for a few seasons now, he ran a cracker in this last season when 2nd to Altior and with the ground drying, he’ll have conditions to suit, as the majority of his wins have come on good or good to soft ground. He’s shown a high level of form this season over hurdles, winning twice and then running well on softer ground behind Eptante and then in the International Hurdle at Cheltenham. An uncharacteristic stumble last time at Kempton, he’s the class 2 mile chaser in the field and is the one to beat.
