A competitive Handicap Hurdle but with the ground riding good and a nice day forecast, this chap is extremely well handicapped and finally gets his preferred conditions over hurdles having been running on ground softer than he’d like. A winner of 3 hurdles races on good ground as a juvenile, he also ran a fine 4th in the Fred Winter at the Cheltenham Festival off a mark 6lbs higher then he races off here, with the additional 3lb claim by JJ Junior. He’s since run well on the flat when encountering a nice surface to race on highlighted by a close 4th at Chester in September. A tricky race but he has a lot n his favour and can be backed each way at a nice price.
