A very interesting runner here stepping into handicap company following 3 runs over hurdles and despite winning twice his mark of 133 could prove lenient. A winner of a listed NH Flat race last season, before running in the Champion Bumper. Beaten on his hurdles debut on heavy ground he then won showing a nice turn of foot despite nut hurdling fluently. Last time albeit in what was a match he showed a really smart turn of foot to beat Danny Kirwan who’s is very highly thought of and subsequently ran 2nd to Angels Breath at Kempton. Using that race and looking at Seddon who ran 3rd some 3 lengths behind Danny Kirwan off level weights and off a rating of 132. Seddon has since run well off 137 in a better handicap that this. So the fact Crooks Peak gave Danny Kirwan 6lbs and a beating suggest a mark of 133 very much underestimates his potential. We can’t always take these form lines literally, but we’re very sure he’s better than his mark and this grade.
