Very progressive this season, winning 3 of his first 4 outings of the season with all those victories being at this course and the latter of those far more comfortable than the winning margin suggests. Two runs ago he was unlucky at Chester, as he just didn’t quite handle the tight track and having been caught off the pace finished with a flourish in the home straight to be nearest at the finish. Happy to forgive Haydock last time in deep heavy ground which he doesn’t handle, so back on a track he likes and a decent surface, a return to winning ways looks very much the play.
