A pretty productive first season and whilst he only won once from 6 starts he showed a decent level of ability. A close 2nd on his debut, we was turned over at odds on next time, but came up against a pretty decent winner. He then won his maiden before stepping up to 7f in the Grp 3 Acomb Stakes. He ran really well until fading in the closing stages and looking like a drop back to 6f would suit. Another 2 very creditable efforts over the longer trip, both of which suggested his stamina was being stretched. He returns over 6f here and with a very useful 5lb claimed by his jockey and a stable running well and big run can be expected.
