Will appreciate the drying ground as long as the weather forecast is correct and they get no rain. He’s really caught the eye at Aintree earlier this season, looking as though he’d surely win races when stepped up to around 3 Miles. Whilst he ran well next time, he didn’t finish his race in the heavy ground and ran a little below par last time, again on pretty heavy ground. We’ve been waiting for him to get better ground, and whilst he’d they’ll be plenty of cut in the surface, this looks a very winnable race and we expect it to ride better than the current “soft” conditions reported.
