She won this race last year off a mark 1lb higher and although she’d been disappointing on her first 2 runs this season she suggested a return to form was imminent with a fast finishing 6th at Newmarket, finishing better than a number of horses rated at least 10lbs superior.
Swindler a stable mate of Fille De Reve won really impressively on his return to action over course and distance, cruising through the race and not ever having to really be asked a serious question. Beaten on ground that had been significantly eased by rain before racing at Newmarket last time, a reproduction of that return victory would see him hard to beat.
