Was an extremely progressive handicapper in 2015, winning 3 on the bounce towards the end of that season. He continued that progression last season, despite not getting his head in front he ran some excellent races in some very competitive handicaps. With a few hold ups in the yard earlier this season, he returned from a break in the John Smiths Cup, which turned into a messy race due to the slow pace and large field. He ran a decent race, having seemingly stumbling a couple of times. This is a big drop in grade, the stable are in really good form and a massive run is expected off a mark he’s very much capable of winning from.
