Lightly raced having been with Nicky Henderson last season and running Champers On Ice close on his hurdles debut, prior to that one running 3rd in the Albert Bartlett at the Cheltenham Festival. Rested having disappointed next time, he subsequently switched to Harry Fry’s yard this season. A promising return behind No Comment, he stepped up on that to win a decent handicap at Sandown last time, coming from well back to win well. This step up in trip looks ideal, and whilst this is a competitive event, this chap could still be a good deal ahead of the handicapper.
