Perhaps the most competitive race across all the cards today, but this chap makes plenty of appeal now he steps up to a mile, having raced over shorter trips as a 2yo. Having been in need of his debut, he then stayed on nicely over 6f at Chelmsford, before winning at the third time of asking at Southwell, pulling clear in the closing stages. Having won at Southwell and on breeding he should handle the potentially softening ground well and looks like he’ll relish this step up in trip. He’s a really good looking imposing type and could prove to be pretty useful for a stable in fine form.
