A non runner due to soft ground recently, Pitchers Point returns to an artificial surface on which he’s run all his races so far with a 2nd placing here at Chelmsford on what was his third start. Off since winning his maiden in impressive fashion at Lingfield, he still looked a bit of a baby then, with the scope for any amount of improvement. He’s sure to have benefitted from that rest and from a stable with a plethora of talent, he’s reportedly been working nicely and is well fancied.
