Easy Notebook Winner – Romain De Senam WON 13/2

Noted at Aintree earlier in the season..

Aintree, Romain De Senam
After a couple of less inspiring runs for his new stable, he’s now dropped to an appealing handicap mark, and showed here on unsuitably soft ground that he’s still very capable of winning races. He’s best suited to around 2 ½ miles on good ground, so the 2 miles here would have been shorter than ideal, and whilst he got into the race nicely, he couldn’t match the leaders kick, especially on this soft surface. When encountering more suitable conditions, he can add to his career tally of wins.
Update: Contested the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup at Cheltenham, getting bought down early on at the 5th fence.

Advised To Premium Members as a Bet on New Years Day:

3.05 Musselburgh – Romain De Senam
A notebook horse from 2 runs back, and unlucky to have been brought down at Cheltenham last time; this looks a fair easier task and one he’s more than capable of winning. He’s dropped to a very appealing handicap mark, when you consider he bolted up at Newton Abbott last year off a mark of 141 and is now rated 138. He ran with real promise at Aintree in November, is likely to be suited by this track and with the stable in excellent form, all the boxes are ticked.
Result: – WON 13/2
