Early days for the NH Season, but 2 winners from just 3 runners for the aracingfirst Ten To Folow.
The Bosses Oscar, Gordon Elliott
A notebook horse from Cheltenham having run really well in the Martin Pipe Hurdle, finishing strongly having been way back off the pace for much of the race. That was only his 5th race over hurdles for connections, so he’s nowhere reached what he’s capable of. The way he finished his race off at Cheltenham suggests he’d get 3 miles no problem and if asked to race over hurdles this season, can win races off his current handicap mark. He’s a well sized gelding and could easily be sent over fences, where again, he’d one to follow with great interest. He could well be one lined up for one of the handicap chases at Cheltenham following a few runs to gain the required experience; perhaps something like the Kim Muir!!

Botox Has, Gary Moore
Looks a very nice young hurdler from the same yard as Goshen, and whilst not having his brilliance, has already shown himself to be very capable after just 3 races for the yard. A very easy winner on his UK debut when making all at Fontwell, he then ran really well when runner up to the impressive and subsequent Triumph Hurdler third, Allmankind. Botox Has was very strong in the finish that day, but just couldn’t reel in the winner who made all. Ridden more aggressively next time when returning to Cheltenham he returned to the winners enclosure. Having made the running he was challenged approaching the final flight but found plenty for pressure to pull away up the hill and win by 5 lengths. He has size and scope for improvement to come with experience and age and can win more races, with Cheltenham in November the reported plan for his return.
